Vegan Salted Caramel Brownie Skillet
Makes: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup Ripple Chocolate Milk
- ¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil, divided
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 oz bittersweet vegan chocolate, chopped
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- Topping: vegan caramel sauce, flaky sea salt, dairy-free ice cream
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 10-inch cast iron skillet with 1 tablespoon coconut oil.
- Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
- Stir in Ripple Chocolate Milk, remaining coconut oil, applesauce and vanilla.
- Mix in chopped chocolate and walnuts; spread in prepared skillet.
- Bake 25-30 minutes.
- To serve, top with vegan caramel sauce, a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, and a scoop of dairy-free ice cream, if desired.
