Banana Bread French Toast
Ingredients:
- 4-6 slices of bread
- 1 egg (For vegan, substitute with 1 tablespoon flax meal)
- 1 cup Ripple Vanilla milk
- ½ mashed ripe banana
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- Coconut oil or butter for greasing pan
- Toppings: banana slices, walnuts, maple syrup
Directions:
- Add the egg, Ripple Vanilla milk, mashed banana, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and coconut sugar to a shallow bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Heat a skillet or griddle on the stovetop to medium-low heat. Grease the skillet with a bit of coconut oil or butter.
- Dip a slice of bread into the batter, letting it soak on each side for a couple of seconds.
- Once both sides of the bread have been dipped, immediately place it on the hot griddle.
- Cook each side for about 3 minutes or until it is slightly crispy and brown.
- Repeat steps 3-5 until all of the slices of bread have been cooked.
- Add desired toppings and enjoy!
